New Look Task Manager
Release Date: October 15th 2024
We’ve given Task Manager a new look! Now you can more effectively manage project tasks, by dragging and dropping them into status groupings, so you can keep on top of progress. All new tasks will be added to a Backlog, and you can then move them into To Do, In Progress, Testing and Done as issues progress to fix.
We’ve also improved the details view of the tasks to provide a more detailed trend chart and more detailed information, to give you everything you need to effectively manage your tasks.
Take a look at the new Task Manager in action in this click-through guide, or follow these step-by-step instructions.
Custom Reports
Release Date: October 11th 2024
We’ve added the ability to save a report that’s been filtered, along with any column changes you’ve made. This lets you quickly return to an actionable data set and track trends over time. Aside from a report name and description, you can also assign the impact (positive, negative, or neutral) and the priority (none, low, medium, high, or critical).
Once created, you’ll see your reports in the new ‘Custom Reports’ section of the left-hand navigation.

Added Unavailable_after Non-Indexable Pages Report to Non-Indexable Charts
Release Date: October 1st 2024
We recently started tagging pages with an unavailable_after robots tag with a date in the past when the page was crawled, as non-indexable pages.
The charts which show a breakdown of the non-indexable pages by the method used on the Non-Indexable dashboard, now include the pages with unavailable after.
Delete Sitemaps from Projects
Release Date: October 1st 2024
We’ve added an option to remove a deselected sitemap in the crawl setup. Previously, all the sitemaps previously added at any point in the crawl’s history were available, which can make it difficult to find a specific Sitemap when there are many in the list.
To remove the ones you no longer need, hover your mouse over the sitemap you want to delete and click the trash can icon that appears to the right of the sitemap. You can also use the ‘Forget Deselected Sitemaps’ button to choose to remove all sitemaps that have not been selected in the crawl setup.
Request Rate Chart Shown on Crawl Progress
Release Date: October 1st 2024
To provide better visibility into crawl activity, Lumar now displays a Request Rate chart in the crawl progress screen. This chart shows the overall request rate, including all resource requests (such as images, scripts, and stylesheets) made during rendering—not just the initial HTML page requests.
While Lumar limits crawl rates based on navigation requests per second, it's important to note that rate limiting systems on websites often account for all resource requests. To reduce the load, we cache these resources, but it's still challenging to predict the impact a crawl might have on your site.
With this new chart, you'll have clearer insight into the total request rate during a crawl, helping you better understand how it affects your platform.
