Trend Graph for Custom Reports and Task Report View
Release Date: December 17th 2024
To enable you to effectively track specific issues over time, we’ve added trend graphs to custom reports and the task report view. These trend graphs are the same as you’ll find with the native Example reports, so you’ll see the graph just above the report table, and they’ll update as each new crawl completes.
Mixed Content Report Update and New Metric
Release Date: December 5th 2024
We’ve added a new Mixed Contents Warnings metric to the crawls_urls datasource, which lists all resources using the HTTP protocol linked from HTTPS pages. With this new metric, we’ve also created a new Pages with Mixed Content Report which provides more accurate results on mixed content issues using data reported by Chrome during rendering. This will make it easier to analyze and address mixed content warnings.
As a result, the legacy Mixed Content Report (which used the crawl_links datasource) was deprecated on December 3rd and is no longer maintained. You can still access the Mixed Content Report with data from crawls completed before its deprecation, but for crawls completed after December 3rd, please use the new Pages with Mixed Content Report. The legacy Mixed Content Report will be removed from the platform at a later date.
As the legacy report contributed to the health scores (in the Security subcategory in Experience), you may also notice a slight change in your health scores now that Mixed Content Report has been replaced with the Pages with Mixed Content Report.
New Task Report View
Release Date: December 5th 2024
To make it easier to distinguish specific task reports from other Lumar reports, we’ve added a new task view that shows you key details of the task at the top of the screen. When you click through from a task to the report view, you’ll now see a banner containing the task description, severity, and status, and the title of the report will be the Task title rather than the base report used to create it. The task description is limited to one line, but you can hover your mouse over the description to see the full text.
Feedback
As always, we’re keen to hear your feedback to help us improve the Lumar platform. You can do this very easily by clicking on the smiley face in the bottom left-hand corner of any of our apps.
