New 'Reporter' User Type

To give you greater control over who can do what in projects, we’ve added a new ‘Reporter’ user type. This new role sits between viewer and editor, so while they won’t be able to create, edit or delete projects, or start or delete crawls, they’ll have the following permissions above the ‘Viewer’ role:

• Analyze:

  • Create and manage custom reports

  • Create and manage tasks

  • Share reports

  • Unarchive crawls

• Monitor:

  • Create and manage alerts

  • Sort table columns

  • Interact with the top chart

You can assign this new user role in the Team settings.

Edit Crawl Safeguard Lookback Window

Release Date: April 23rd 2025

When we launched the crawl safeguard feature in January, the lookback window (the time period for monitoring the failure rate for page requests) was set to 5 minutes. We’ve now made it possible to change the duration of the lookback window from anywhere between 60 and 1,800 seconds (30 minutes).

To change the duration of the window, go to step 4 of the crawl setup, and go to Advanced Settings > Spider Settings > Crawl Safeguard.

Conversion Metrics in Data Explorer

Conversion metrics are now available in Data Explorer, to help you examine and summarize data quickly in SEO and Site Speed projects. The following metrics are now available to use:

• # of Conversions / Visit

• # of Primary Conversions

• Primary Conversions Value
