To enable you to customize the project list view and more easily find the projects you need, you can add custom tags to projects in Analyze. This helps you to reduce the ‘noise’ of any irrelevant projects by filtering to just the projects you need, and quickly identify the right projects by easily identifying them in the project list.
In the all projects view, you’ll see a column called ‘Tags’ toward the right-hand side. Before you’ve added any tags, you’ll see a + icon to add a tag.
Clicking on that icon will open the option to create a new tag.
You can then give your tag a name, and assign a color, so it can be quickly identified in the project list. Once you’re happy with the details, click on ‘Save & Add Tag’ to save the details.
You can then check the box next to the tag to apply it to the project.
If you want to create another tag, click Manage Tags, and then use the ‘New Tag’ button and follow the same steps. You can create a number of different tags, and then they’ll be available to apply to the project as needed.
If you want to change the name or color of the tags, you can use the edit button next to the tag to reopen the configuration.
Once you’ve created and applied the tags you need, you can open the select/deselect option by clicking on a tag you have applied to a project, or the + icon for those you haven’t applied to as yet. As mentioned above, you can also apply multiple tags to projects.
You can also use the project selection option on the left-hand side of the project list to apply tags to multiple projects.
With tags created, you can then filter the all project view to a specific tag. Above the project list, you’ll see a ‘Tags’ option. Clicking on this will allow you to select the tag (or tags) you want to filter to.
Once filtered, you’ll see the tags selected in the view (with a numerical value if more than two are selected) and can click on this again to select more, or deselect. You can also use the X icon to quickly remove all tag filters.
