Update to Handling of Mobile and AMP Pages in Lumar Reports
Release Date: July 28th 2025
To reduce false positives in the Non-Indexable Report, we've updated how Lumar handles dedicated mobile pages (e.g. m.) as well as AMP pages:
Correctly reciprocal mobile and AMP pages are now treated as indexable and have been removed from the Non-Indexable Report.
Reciprocal mobile and AMP pages have been added to the Non-Primary Pages Report, as they are indexable but not designated as primary.
Correctly reciprocal mobile and AMP pages continue to be excluded from Duplicate Reports — this behavior remains unchanged.
Updated FCP and TTFP Report Thresholds
Release Date: July 22nd 2025
Following Google’s update of thresholds for First Contentful Paint (FCP) and Time to Fast Byte (TTFB), we've updated those thresholds in SEO projects to match. We notified of these changes in app 2 weeks before release.
You will likely see improvements to Experience and Page Speed health scores—particularly for TTFB which has the most significant change.
The changes to the metrics are as follows:
| First Contentful Paint (FCP) | Old (seconds) | New (seconds) |
| Fast FCP | Below 2 | Below 1.8 |
| Average FCP | Between 2 and 4 | Between 1.8 and 3 |
| Slow FCP | Over 4 | Over 3 |
| Time to First Byte (TTFB) | Old (seconds) | New (seconds) |
| Fast Server Response | Below 0.2 | Below 0.8 |
| Medium Server Response | Below 0.2 and 0.6 | Between 0.8 and 1.8 |
| Slow Server Response | Over 0.6 | Over 1.8 |
New Top URL Patterns Tab
Release Date: July 18th 2025
We’ve added a new tab at the top of Lumar reports that shows recurring URL patterns, to help you understand themes.
For URL-based reports, you’ll now see a new tab called ‘Top URL Patterns’, which shows URL details that repeat across the dataset, with unique paths (e.g. numbers or UUIDs) collapsed into wildcards (*). To the right of the URL, you’ll see an estimate of the percentage of URLs that follow this pattern in the dataset.
Clicking on one of the URL patterns will then filter the dataset below to only include those URLs. The Top URL Patterns tab will then refresh so you can drill down into the data as needed. Clicking on the home icon in the top left of the Top URL Patterns tab will remove the filters and return you to the original top URL patterns.
Stored HTML Available for Custom Metrics
Release Date: July 3rd 2025
Some customers have been using our new AI-Powered Custom Metrics to check the difference between raw and rendered HTML. We’ve therefore added the ability to see the raw and rendered HTML of test URLs so you can confirm the custom metrics are working as expected.
On the right-hand side of the custom metrics results screen (after the metric has been created and tested), you’ll see an ‘Actions’ column with a button to click to view the HTML.
After clicking the View HTML button, a new window will open up, showing the Raw vs Rendered HTML side-by-side.
