This release note covers improvements made since the last release note, and during the current month. It will therefore be updated as new improvements are made to the Lumar platform, and will be finalised and replaced with a new release note at the end of the month.
AI Visibility Project Setup: Plan your runs during project setup
Release Date: 15 September 2026
AI Visibility project setup now puts your run allowance on screen while you configure a project. Platforms are grouped into UI Platforms, which query the consumer apps your buyers use, and API Platforms, which query the providers’ official APIs, and each group is allowanced differently. Run frequency is a single control, and the Prompt Limits Reference panel breaks down what this project consumes, what your other projects are taking, and what is left. You can see the cost of adding a platform or moving to a daily cadence before you commit to it, instead of discovering it when a limit stops a run.
AI Visibility: Keep platforms out of your rankings with Context brands
Release Date: 15 September 2026
AI Visibility brands can now be classified as Context, a fourth brand type alongside Own, Competitor and Other. Context is for the platforms and surfaces AI answers name alongside products, such as Google, ChatGPT or a browser. A Context brand drops out of Top Brands and out of Share of Voice (coming soon!) denominators, while still appearing in brand lists, citation lists, source domains and per-answer detail. You get a competitive view built only from real rivals, and Share of Voice percentages that reflect the market you actually sell into.
AI Visibility: Grok (UI) is temporarily unavailable
Release Date: 15 September 2026
Grok data collection is currently unavailable on the provider side. Rather than leaving Grok in the platform list as a normal toggle, the Choose AI Platforms screen in AI Visibility project setup now flags it as temporarily unavailable and prevents it being switched on. We're monitoring the situation closely to restore this as soon as we can.
